Balloon Designers - Float Conference

We are elated and honored to have the opportunity to partner with Balloon Designers and FLOAT the Convention. For those new here - Balloon Designers is the top balloon installation company in the world and they produce an incredible conference dedicated to balloon art. Artists from around the globe participate in this and it is truly unlike anything you could ever dream or imagine - off the charts creative. Isla and Quinn both have loved Balloon Designers and Steve and Alexa since the time they were small. They were lucky enough to attend events, see pics and even have their balloon artwork at their own birthdays. Isla was absolutely elated when they designed a custom installation for her 10th birthday. Her imagination ran wild - and she felt their balloon artwork always played right along into that. She would follow along on their Instagram page and always be telling us what enormous installation they were out doing. Balloons are JOY. But what Steve and Alexa can do with balloons is next level amazing - joy to the nth degree.

We were ecstatic when we got the invite to participate in their conference and to collect stuffies that together with them we'll then donate. Isla had a massive collection - in fact there wasnt a store visit or a trip that we went on where she wouldnt beg to get one - even if it was tiny, a weird animal like a rat, or whatever - she had to add it. She would name them immediately and despite the fact her collection kept growing - and we didnt believe she even remembered where half of them were - you could remind her of one and she would run to get it and be astonished that you did not recall what she named it. She had an unbelievable knack for naming. The fact that we'll all be able to brighten the day of many kids in her honor is so special.

So as you can see - this combines so many things that Isla loved and so many people that were near and dear to her and meant something to her. We can't express how touched we were - and how amazing it is to us when people remember and celebrate her. It has been a harder year for us - the shock has subsided and we miss her beyond. Seeing her legacy live on is what helps us.

We'll be travelling to Chicago in late January for the conference and are looking forward to meeting all the Floaties from different parts of the world!
